An oasis of luxury and art

The fine design captured my heart. Floating in my private onsen with amazing views felt surreal. Dinner was a good journey of flavors, especially the grilled vegetables. The staff were great.

While the hotel's location offers tranquility, it's a bit far from town centers. The absence of soy or almond milk options for breakfast was a minor oversight for those with dietary restrictions.

The private onsen views were very nice, but the air conditioning struggled to cool the room.

Staying at Galleria Midobaru was lovely. The architectural design left me in awe. The room's private onsen with views over Beppu city was very nice. I spent hours relaxing in it. The bed was spacious and super comfy. The staff were cute and did their best despite the language barrier, offering help with our bags and providing recommendations. There were welcome drinks after check-in. The location is somewhat isolated, quite a hike to find dining options outside the hotel. Public transport is limited, and the shuttle service felt a bit restrictive with its schedule. There was also a slight issue with the water on one morning. We had no water in our room, made getting ready challenging. A hotel at this level should consider offering compensation for such inconveniences. But overall, the positive aspects far outweighed the negatives, and I enjoyed my time here.

This boutique hotel was a true gem! The King Room offered fine mountain views and a private onsen that was relaxing. The staff, especially Maria and Tui, were attentive, even holding dinner for us after we arrived late due to train delays.

A shuttle service would have been helpful.

The private onsen in our room was amazing. The breakfast spread was decent, but the standout feature was the unbelievable city views from our room. Traveling with my wife and two adult kids made it even better.

My children wanted more food options available throughout the day.

I really enjoyed the hot spring bath and the gorgeous garden area for relaxation. The only hiccup was limited dining options at the hotel during certain hours, so plan ahead! 😄

This place is located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. 🌳 Also, it's just a 15-minute drive to Jissoji Stadium, making it a convenient spot for sports fans or event attendees.

The room is spacious, has a comfortable bed, and offers exceptional views, with an electric kettle and a refrigerator provided in the room; the hotel is located in a peaceful area.
